Time saving Firefox Plugin for Google Reader

Time saving Google Reader Plugin
Google Reader in itself is a great service in avoiding mindless hopping to various blogs.

If you strongly believe in not wasting your online time and want to spend it wisely, one of the first things I recommend is you to try out Google Reader.

Even then, because of the enormity of blogs and surplus information available, even a powerful tool like Google Reader sometimes becomes not very helpful. It is always better to tweak the good tools to make them best.

Post rank provides a firefox (again a good browser choice for many who are keen in productivity) plugin.

PostRank gives ranks to a blog post by continuously monitoring the RSS feeds. This rating is dynamic and changes as the days go by giving weightage to most popular, most read feed posts.

PostRank's plugin (Click here to download the plugin) helps to sort posts in a particular feed or all posts in a particular category(folder) in Google Reader or you could also sort all the feed posts in your Reader.

You could categorize the posts as 'Best', 'Great', 'Good' or 'All(not sorted)' using this plugin.

This way only those posts which satisfy the criteria would be displayed so that you don't miss the important, most popular posts.

You would now never miss, fall back from knowing the hot happenings in your field of interest.

To see how the plugin seamlessly gels with the Google Reader, you could watch the video embedded below for clarity.
